 05.01.08.D.03. WEEDMAPS INTEGRATION SETTINGS 

MJ Freeway offers streamlined integration with Weedmaps and other online menus and locator services so you can reach your patients and customers quickly. This feature is included in GramTracker Pro and Elite packages. If you have GramTracker Startup package and would like to add automatic integration to all the locator services we support, you can do so HERE.

 

Configure overall WeedMaps settings

 Navigate to: Admin > Settings > Integrations

 

Under the Menu Export Settings tab, open  up the WEEDMAPS INTEGRATION SETTINGS option. 


You can provide your Weedmaps details and specify which data you'd like to be pushed out to the Weedmaps site.

**Please Note: The username and password are case sensitive.

 *You can find your API Key by contacting Weedmaps directly.

 

Edit and configure each product in your inventory.

Navigate to: Inventory > Products > Active products > "Edit" on any product

Scroll to the bottom, you'll find a "Menu Export Settings" section where you can specify the Category where you would like the product to appear.

Weedmaps Category: Depending on the category you have selected for the product, your Weedmaps category options will be No Integration, Edible, Drink, Clone, Seed, Tincture, Gear, Topicals, Prerolls, Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, Concentrate, Wax.

NOTE: Any products that will be mapped to Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, Concentrate, or Wax MUST be setup as a Priced by Weight product.

 

Navigate to Admin > Settings > Integration/Integration Settings > Menu Export Settings

 

Remove Out of Stock Inventory from Weedmaps

Our latest release makes it possible to automatically remove out-of-stock inventory from your Weedmaps export.

 

To remove out of stock inventory from Weedmaps using the MJ Freeway/Weedmaps integration, do the following:

  1. Log in as an Administrator user.
  2. Go to Admin > Settings > Integrations.
  3. Click the Menu Export Settings tab.
  4. Expand the Weedmaps Integration Settings section.
  5. Under Inventory Out of Stock Preference select the appropriate option.
  • Don't include products that are out of stock - the will remove all products from Weedmaps that have an inventory level thats at or below zero (0).
  • Don't include products that are below inventory buffer - this will remove products from Weedmaps that fall below the inventory buffer level configured on the category page.
  • Include all products - this will send all items configured for integration, regardless of stock level.


To configure inventory buffer settings:

  1. Log in as an Administrator user.
  2. Go to Admin > Settings > Customize Lists
  3. Next to 'Catalog' click 'List Terms'.
  4. For the category you wish to modify, click 'Edit'.
  5. Specify the inventory buffer level for both bulk inventory items and simple inventory items. 
  6. Click Save.

Navigate to: Admin > Settings > Integrations > Menu Export Settings > Weedmaps Integration Settings

**Note: MJ Freeway updates to Weedmaps nightly.  Weedmaps does not let you edit categories, therefore you have to match the product to the category within the product itself.  The categories presented on weedmaps are the categories your products can be shown in, for example: Weedmaps does not have a 'flower' category, rather they are separated into 'indica', 'sativa', and 'hybrid'.
