Sales Screen - Selecting the Payment Type for an Order

Completing the sale with Cash:

- place your cursor in the input field

- enter the amount of cash you receive from the customer

- you do not need to enter a decimal, but do enter the cents. For example, $5 would be entered as 500. Then select the Cash button

- the fields for Total, Paid, Due and Change will be updated

- if you receive exact change from the patient, just select the Cash button without entering anything in the input field

 

 

Completing the sale with Credit Card:

- if you have set up integrated credit card transactions with MJ Freeway, then select the Credit Card button and swipe the credit card in your magnetic stripe reader

- if you do not have integrated credit card transactions with MJ Freeway, then select the Credit Card button to close out the sale. Then use your stand-alone credit card machine to swipe the card and complete the credit card transaction.

 

Completing the sale with Check:

- select the Check button, if the check is for the exact amount of the sale

- if the check is for an amount other than the exact amount, enter the amount in the input field and select Check
